About our Concession

Our hunting concession was one of the first big-game hunting concessions created in Burkina Faso over twenty five years ago. Situated 450kms east of Ouagadougou, the concession shares a 35km border with the famous Arly National Park.

The concession is home to large concentrations of West African Savannah Buffalo, Roan, Waterbuck, Kob and Hartebeest as well as numerous Reedbuck, Harnessed Bushbuck, Oribi, Red Flanked and Bush Duikers. It also boasts one of the largest concentrations of wild lions and on most safaris Lion are seen even when not specifically hunting them!

Protected species such as Elephant can be seen on a daily basis often right outside camp. Hippos are concentrated along the small rivers flowing through our concession and rare sightings of Cheetah and Leopard are also possible.

Our concession has over 400kms of well-maintained 4wd trails which provide great access to the hunting area. Water holes and salt licks are maintained to keep the game in the area.

The main camp consists of individual thatched guest chalets built in traditional Burkina style. Each guest chalet has its own en-suite western style bathroom and shower as well as running water. Guest chalets are equipped with air conditioners which are a real treat in the hot weather. Power is supplied via a generator.

A common bar and sitting & dining area are provided for the guests’ comfort where they can relax after their hunt and enjoy a cocktail. The camp also boasts a small, well maintained swimming pool which is a huge bonus after a hot day’s hunt! A modern kitchen and trained chef provides great meals with a French influence. French bread is baked daily and served with all meals.
